What is the purpose?
Taking necessary time to humble ourselves before God and quiet our flesh through fasting and prayer is an essential element in the journey of a disciple. Fasting and prayer can Eventhough many of us do this personally, we also honor the strength in engaging corporately... Many people are not familiar with fasting as a lifestyle or God's Mandate for marriage covenants, and so we seek to enlighten, educate and empower whomever is willling to receive the truth of His Word concerning our part in the matter.
